Welcome to Shade Gardens 4 All!  Nearly every yard, garden and home has some spots of shade. Some simple spots are under a tree,or shrub  On the sides of buildings, and other prestine or non-prestine areas.

 Shade Gardens provides a gentle cool inspiring setting for your mind, soul, and eyes to rest from bright and bold plantings that thrive in the sun. Some shade gardens are simply based on foilage size and texture. Some gardens are focused on foilage variety like the hosta, not only green, but gold, white, blue, silver, even varigated with white or gold. Color foilage can play a vital role in shade gardening. Please don't feel limited to the same old plantings in your gardens. Try something new, a surprise in a shady spot.

 Many plants offer blooms at various times of the year, with many various colors. How about a shady corner with a shrub for some height and color, it would also provide winter intrest of colorful stems or branches, and who knows maybe even some little birds, that always bring joy. A strong statement like a shrub can support a simple, but dull garden until you are ready for that change. You probably have had your eye on it for quite some time.
